Throughout its history, CMA has published a number of publications in support of college student media and the professionals who work with student staffs. These have included journals, monographs, newsletters, notebooks and other specialty publications.
Keeping with contemporary standards, beginning fall 2011 CMA will publish the research and general interest articles for its flagship journal College Media Review exclusively online. Likewise, the association's news reports previously printed in the College Media newsletter will be available immediately under the "news" tab on this site.
After a two-year run available in electronic format only, CMA's annual Best of Collegiate Design will return to a print format and be provided to all members beginning in 2012.
CMA maintains a small inventory of monographs focused on topics of value to advisers. These include:
College Media Advising: Ethics and Responsibilities, Lillian Lodge Kopenhaver and J.William Click (2003)
Responsible and Ethical Decision Making: Advertising and Editorial Content, Harvey Leonard Gotliffe (2000)
