Honor Roll Adviser Awards

In 1982, CMA also established a series of Honor Roll Awards for media advisers with fewer than five years of experience.

The Honor Roll Adviser Award is presented to a CMA member with fewer than five years’ experience in college media advising and has distinguished service in a particular area and is an adviser at the time of the nomination.

This award may be given in the following 12 categories:

1. Four-year Newspaper Adviser 

2. Two-year Newspaper Adviser 

3. Four-year Yearbook Adviser 

4. Two-year Yearbook Adviser 

5. Four-year Magazine Adviser 

6. Two-year Magazine Adviser 

7. Four-year Business Adviser 

8. Two-year Business Adviser

9. Four-year Broadcast Adviser 

10. Two-year Broadcast Adviser 

11. Four-year Multimedia Adviser 

12. Two-year Multimedia Adviser
